Because Mommies deserve nice things too! I’d say it’s a great reference for Mother’s Day gifts, Christmas gifts, and Birthday gifts, but I’d not-so-secretly mean that mommies deserve these ANY DAY of the week!

Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag

This, or another really beautiful diaper bag. We mommies willingly trade our compact designer bags formerly filled with glamorous things like mascara and lipstick for plastic monstrosities filled with diapers and sippy cups. No one will even care about the sea of broken goldfish inside when the outside is so spectacular.
Retails for $170.

Growing Frame
How thoughtful to honor mommy’s greatest work with a celebration of the beauty she’s created! This precious frame leaves room for a glowing maternity picture, an ultrasound picture, and the darling baby himself. Any mommy would be proud to show off all her hard work!
Kindle
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Amazon, but honestly, they just make it so easy to love them. As a big fan of books, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about an e-reader- until I held a Kindle in person. Instead of trying to maneuver a 500-page Twilight book while nursing a new baby, how easy would it be to balance this 6 ounce beauty? (Not that I read books about teenage vampires. I’m not admitting to anything.) Amazon’s online Kindle interface makes it so easy to find and download books- and then you’ll be able to set yourself up for easy gift-giving in the future! A Kindle gift card for the new bestselling novel! A fancy Kindle cover! An e-reader magazine subscription! I think it actually may be the gift that keeps on giving. Don’t forget to add in some quiet time for Mom to catch up on her reading!
Loving Family Pendant
Mommies are so proud of their babies, no matter what age they may be! Now she can keep them close to her heart with this beautiful pendant and chain. It even comes in different family sizes!
Retails for $40.

Keurig
My Keurig has changed my life. PapaBargain sheepishly presented it to me on my first Mothers Day, saying, “I know I’m not supposed to get you an appliance, but….I really think you’ll like this one!” And he knocked it out of the park! I can’t imagine life without it! I love coffee, but the idea of making an entire pot for me to have one cup was ridiculous enough that I hardly ever did it. Not only that, but on weekends we’d be making two pots- one caffeinated and one decaf- and cleaning it twice too! But with our Keurig, we each get to pick our favorite coffee and make our own single, freshly-brewed cup with no coffee waste and no cleanup. I just can’t say enough good things! It will change your life!
Mommy Memory Book
This book is such a beautiful idea for a mommy who embraces a role as record-keeper of the family. Only a single line of text is needed every day for five years to capture the very best memories of a growing family! For those of us who are scrapbook-challenged, I think this is an amazing alternative!
iPod
Mommies wear a lot of hats. That’s why the playlist feature of iPods is so critical. From Steve Songs on her “Playdate” playlist, to The Black-Eyed Peas on her “Workout” playlist, to Enya on her “Relaxing” playlist, iPod’s got it covered. Add a few Sesame Street videos and everyone can enjoy a little extra time lingering over a dinner out! I like this 160GB Classic- you’ll never run out of room!
Diamond Watch
All mommies need a little luxury in their lives- especially something that’s super-functional! You’d think that watches would have gone by the wayside by now, but we’re still not wearing our cell phones on our wrists. And it never fails that mommy won’t have a free hand when she’s checking to see how close we are to naptime! It’s a small luxury to be able to gaze into the face of this beautiful watch in the midst of kiddie chaos!
Compact Digital Camera
And not just any digital camera- one that can easily fit in a cramped diaper bag and still takes good pictures. Because you never know when that perfect spontaneous camera-ready moment will arrive! We show the Panasonic Lumix on the right, with almost 200 5-star Amazon reviews!
Diamond Earrings
Alright, just a little splurge! It’s hard to go wrong with diamond earrings, especially when they’re sparkly princess cuts like these. A nice 3/4 carat total weight seems just about right to transition from playdate to dinner date!
Retails for $1500.
