Two good sales on two favorites of mine today. First, Amazon has marked down a nice selection of Green Toys, including my favorite Tea Set (on the right). Green Toys are made in the US (which is so rare these days) of recycled milk jugs (come on, that’s just cool!) The Tea Set meets FDA food contact standards and is dishwasher safe- so you really can have tea in them! Originally $28, it’s marked down to just $20 right now! And Zulily has some adorable Trumpette sock sets on sale for 50% off today- a really great deal on these popular feet warmers! We had a really cute boy set for BabyBargain and a girl set for BabyGirlBargain, and I swear we’ve received more compliments on those than almost any other article of clothing they’ve worn! Nothing like a stormy weekend to make you want to hunker down at home and shop online. In fact, I believe this colorful water table on the right could probably double as a rain gauge with a few strategic modifications. Just sayin’. You probably won’t need another excuse to use it though, because it’s a kiddie crowd pleaser no matter the weather. BabyBargain likes to try to convince me to take ours out in the snow. (And sometimes he does. It’s surprisingly fun!) Anyhow, I spent most of one summer waiting for a good deal on one of these, and there just never was one. Too popular, maybe? I was totally hooked on this concept the minute I saw it released. As far as I can tell, Skip Hop is the only brand that’s really making bumper-free crib bedding “cool.” It might be hard to tell from our top picture of the entire set, but check out the pic on the left- that cool contrasting border makes the crib sheet look like there’s a bumper with it. I think that’s so smart! I’ve been waiting for a bargain since the bumper-free bedding sets were released months ago, and finally this pretty chocolate lattice pattern has been marked down- to the lowest price I’ve ever seen!
