Baby Birth Day Box

Such a cute little gift for your favorite new baby girl! Already nicely boxed for easy gift-giving (perhaps an impromptu hospital gift?) the Bloomers Baby Birth Day Box includes plush pink bloomers, a fuzzy trimmed hat, and a cozy matching tee. The whole set retails for $68 (and is still sold pretty much everywhere for that much!), but we’ve found it on Amazon today for just $20- 70% off!

UPDATE: I thought it was only the pink color on sale, but it looks like there’s a blue and a white version that are also on sale for the same price. I can’t find a way to select another color, except on my mobile phone- so that might be an option for those of you looking for blue and white, or you could try contacting Amazon directly to place an order.

“Cinderella is proof that a pair of shoes can change your life.” I’ll give you this- it can at least change your day! Duplo Deals

The other day I was about to write a post about a bargain on this, because I have so many great memories of playing this toy as a child. But I read through the reviews first and found out that this *new* version is just a sad electronic impostor of the nostalgic old version. It made me so sad! Why mess with something that works? There’s really not many toys PapaBargain and I played with in our youth that are still around today, particularly in their original form. Except our old friend, LEGO. I’m pretty certain we could match the bricks we used 25 years ago (!) to the shiny new ones BabyBargain uses today. Heck, the 25 year old ones still look pretty shiny themselves. Timeless. So today I’ve found a few great deals on LEGO’s Duplo brand for tots. LOVE them. I call The Children’s Place my “starting place”. Since shopping for clothes in the real (not online) world is so…ahem…challenging with two kids in tow, a mom’s gotta start with her best bet. This gal points herself to TCP first, because I honestly think their quality and style is on par with other shops that charge triple the price. Like this guitar neck t-shirt. Easily found at a baby boutique for $20, it’s on sale at The Children’s Place for $5. $5! Even originally it’s only $10! This weekend they’ve got an amazing sale going on, and every order ships free. Hanna Andersson Sale

My cell phone is up for renewal after our having spent two long years together. (Wait, you say. You said this was a Hanna Andersson post!) Anyhow, it was no sooner than three days before the big upgrade date that said phone quit answering calls. Hm. Me thinks this phone was built to last for 2 years. I was all perturbed about quality until I happened upon Hanna Andersson’s site in my bargain hunt today. Their About Us page mentions quality no less than 7 times, with a lovely story about being made to last. Like a refreshing breeze that was! Then I stumbled onto the clearance page where I found this originally $58 Twirl Girl Sweater Dress on sale for $15. $15! And there’s plenty more where that came from, particularly if you’re shopping for a new baby (lots of great deals in the smaller sizes!) Be sure to check out the summer sale pages too!
