So I must have had quite a bit of free time on my hands during my first pregnancy, because I had about a dozen pregnancy-related books and read every one of them cover to cover.  Two tots later, I’m lucky to get through a magazine cover to cover.  And it takes a solid month.  Eeek.  The Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy was probably my second favorite of the pre-baby group (I think my most favorite was The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy, also on sale(!) but more entertaining than truly informative.)  This was my go-to reference book- I really preferred the more clinical, informative tone of this book to the more conversational What to Expect.  I easily picked it up every week of my pregnancy, so for $12 (44% off the list price!) I’d say you’ll definitely get $.30 a week of information out of it!  It’d be a perfect gift for a newly pregnant friend!  If you’ve got a favorite pregnancy book, feel free to leave it in our comments!
