So I must have had quite a bit of free time on my hands during my first pregnancy, because I had about a dozen pregnancy-related books and read every one of them cover to cover. Two tots later, I’m lucky to get through a magazine cover to cover. And it takes a solid month. Eeek. The Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy was probably my second favorite of the pre-baby group (I think my most favorite was The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy, also on sale(!) but more entertaining than truly informative.) This was my go-to reference book- I really preferred the more clinical, informative tone of this book to the more conversational What to Expect. I easily picked it up every week of my pregnancy, so for $12 (44% off the list price!) I’d say you’ll definitely get $.30 a week of information out of it! I’m guilty. No one wants to pay outrageous prices for clothes you’ll only wear for a few months of your life. But consider this- you’ll wear them quite a bit during those few months. And possibly over multiple years. And they will need to be sturdy, because a round belly apparently turns into a magnet for marinara sauce. Alright, this is sort of a loose definition of a TotBargain, but I liked the bargain enough that I bought it for myself- so it must be good!
