Crib sets. Let’s get real. Bumpers come out after a few months, quilts don’t go in for a year, so of your agonizingly-chosen crib set (or was that just me?) you’re left with a simple sheet and tiny skirt. Am I the only one just a little depressed by this? Perhaps my disappointment could have been lessened had I purchased the set for 65% off, like this cute Sumersault 4-piece set at Target. Alright, this is sort of a loose definition of a TotBargain, but I liked the bargain enough that I bought it for myself- so it must be good! There’s nothing easier than throwing on a light cotton dress in the summer, and perhaps nothing so figure-friendly as the classic maxi dress. In fact, one of the four 5/5 star reviews references it as a great maternity dress! Comfort…check. Style…check. Price…it doesn’t get any better. Target’s daily deal is a buy-one-get-one-free on these versatile dresses (they’re available in multiple colors), AND you can use coupon code TCJ09UAB for another 10% off (on the very last checkout page), AND it’s free shipping. So you’d get two mama-friendly dresses for less than the price of one. My total was about $18 for two $22 dresses! The deal is only valid today, 6/7, so think fast!
It’s just a great little idea for not-s0-great little sleepers. The TykeLight is battery-operated (lasting 100 hrs!) for super-portability and automatically shuts off after 15 minutes for earth-friendliness. Perfect for late-night feedings, potty breaks, or monster checks! You may have seen the TykeLight’s first appearance on our blog a few months ago, but now it’s even cheaper! Amazon has the green and pink colors on sale for just $6.95 each (46% off!) and they’re eligible for free shipping on orders over $25. (I think those Pipsqueaks are still on sale if you need help getting to $25!)
Well I know my ears just perked up! There’s too many bargains at BabySnazz’s secret sale to list just one, so here’s a bunch! Hotslings 60% off, nursing covers 60% off, bibs 50% off, BabyLegs 60% off, hats, cloth diapers, sleepsacs, oh my! And they add new stuff to the sale page every day for the next week! I bought both of my Hotslings during on of their previous secret sales and it worked out great- I splurged on two different sizes (one bigger for just after baby, one smaller when I was back to “normal”- whatever that is!) and two different colors. It’s pretty much 2 for 1, how can you go wrong??
New Mamas know that few gifts are more precious than that of time. I recall the bottle sterilizing process. It’s a labor of love. Find a clean pot, make water boil, attempt to cover bottles with said water, frustratingly resign yourself to constant stirring, burn hands attempting to remove bottles, wait for those two hot bottles to cool, repeat, repeat, repeat. The Avent Steam Sterilizer sterilizes 6 bottles in 6 minutes. Where have you been all my life? Apparently at Amazon for 34% off.
It’s one of those facts of life. By the time you realize you need a breast pump, you’re probably not in the mood to be looking for a good deal. Which is most likely okay, since good deals are really hard to find on these. Making this bargain ever the better! The highly-reviewed Philips Avent ISIS iQ Duo Twin Electric Breast Pump (whew!) is on sale at Amazon for 41% off the original $350, $206.83, and it ships for FREE!
Our more observant TotBargainers may have already noticed the tiny top link in our Links section- the one to the Baby Earth Gaga deal. If you haven’t already checked it out, it’s a must-see. I literally just watched the price fall cent by cent on this Britax Decathalon Convertible car seat from it’s retail of $295 all the way down to $167 before it sold out. Every hour from 9-5 M-F there’s a new Gaga deal, and as the hour progresses the price drops- possibly down to $0 if no one else is watching!  It’s addictive, but a great way to pick up some good deals!
