I’m sure I sum up the thoughts of most newer parents when I unabashedly say that my favorite descriptive word for kiddie gear is MULTI-FUNCTIONAL. It doesn’t take long to realize that your tiny 7-pound newborn has brought along with her 70 pounds of gear. (Nothing wrong with that ratio, little ladies!) Anyhow, I’ve found that multiple functions get much more difficult to find in toddler/preschool gear, making this bargain quite the standout. Weekend trip to Grandma’s? Check. Saturday at the beach? Check. Naptime at daycare? Check. Toddler who refuses to sleep in his own room? Check and check. All this for 43% off the original $35, just $20 at Amazon on Regalo’s “My Cot” -with some great reviews!

What could be more relaxing than watching happy jungle animals move majestically to soothing music from the comfort of your own bed? Hard to say, but it would certainly put me to sleep! Crib sets. Let’s get real. Bumpers come out after a few months, quilts don’t go in for a year, so of your agonizingly-chosen crib set (or was that just me?) you’re left with a simple sheet and tiny skirt. Am I the only one just a little depressed by this? Perhaps my disappointment could have been lessened had I purchased the set for 65% off, like this cute Sumersault 4-piece set at Target.
