 BabyBargain went through this adorable “sitting phase” as a toddler that enamored us enough to spend a solid hour interviewing suitable chairs at our local baby big box store. We ended up with a low lounge-y chair that’s been pretty popular, but – it’s too hard to “read” in it’s squishy folds. So now I think it’s awfully astute that P’Kolino named this their Little Reader, because this style is just perfect for cozying up with a book- and then storing it in the side pocket!  The other day I was about to write a post about a bargain on this, because I have so many great memories of playing this toy as a child. But I read through the reviews first and found out that this *new* version is just a sad electronic impostor of the nostalgic old version. It made me so sad! Why mess with something that works? There’s really not many toys PapaBargain and I played with in our youth that are still around today, particularly in their original form. Except our old friend, LEGO. I’m pretty certain we could match the bricks we used 25 years ago (!) to the shiny new ones BabyBargain uses today. Heck, the 25 year old ones still look pretty shiny themselves. Timeless.  I’ve been stalking RoomMate’s Sesame Street wall decals for a while now, and this is the first time I’ve seen a discount of any of them- and I’m so glad it’s Big Bird! I just love everything about my yellow-feathered friend. He’s easy to apply to a wall, easily removable, and oh-did I mention- 5 FEET TALL? He’s a BIG bird, you know! I feel like I want to stick him up in my laundry room. I need a friendly face in there. Aside from building a whole permanent motif, I think he’d also be a great birthday party decoration. And fun to have in pictures. Surprisingly, I can think of quite a few uses for a 5 ft tall sticky bird.
